Hey Hiveminders, just another friendly reminder that we have a LAN party coming up this Friday, April 17th at 7:00pm in SUB Ballroom A. We’ll be playing lots of fun games (yay!) including (but not limited to) Left 4 Dead, Call of Duty 4, Team Fortress 2, Unreal Tournament 3, Counter-Strike: Source, F.E.A.R. Combat Multiplayer and many more! We’ll have music and great prizes.
Setup begins at 3:00pm so if you would like to help us out feel free to come! Also, when loading and unloading, please use the front, south entrance (parking loop in front of the SUB) and not the loading dock!
See you there,
Kyle Laborda
MSU Hivemind President
Wanted to inform Hivemind members that there will be a member meeting on Tuesday, 3/31/09 at 5:00pm in front of the Bobcat Grill.
We will be discussing the upcoming LAN on April 17th, hosting a Cat5e cable crimping party, officer nominations and much more.
It’s that time of the semester, once again, and time to nominate future officers.
Check out the Hivemind officer nomination thread for more information.
A big thanks goes out to everyone for attending the February LAN. I appreciated the dedicated Hiveminder’s that helped setup and tear down for the nights event. We had a few issues that resulted from bad network cables that will be resolved after we initiate a “crimping party”.
If tehre are any suggestions or comments that could be made to improve the April LAN please feel free to post in the forum.
Just a friendly reminder that our first LAN of the year is approaching quickly. The LAN is this Sunday, February 15th at 7pm in SUB Ballroom A
.
Setup will be at 4pm and we’ll meet in front of SUB Ballroom A. We have some great prizes to give away this year so the LAN should be a great time.

If there is a game that isn’t on the list that you want to provide a dedicated server for feel free to post in the February 15th dedicated server thread in the forum.
