  • October 1st, Saturday, Ballroom D
  • November 4th, Friday, Ballroom D
  • January 28th, Saturday, Ballroom A
  • April 14th, Saturday, SUB Rooms 233-235

Slight change in venue this year, but we’ll still be in the SUB. As usual setup begins at 3pm, with the LAN itself at 7pm.

MSU Hivemind is now a Facebook group as well, so join up to get the latest updates.

First LAN of the year is coming up in a week, you tell your friends and we’ll cover campus in posters.

First LAN of the semester is this Saturday, January 29th.

Setup begins at 3pm in SUB Ballroom A, and the LAN starts at 7pm.

Steam backups will be provided on the fileserver, but checking for the latest updates before the LAN will save you time during setup. As always be sure to bring your computer, and any games you plan on playing. Power strips and network cables will be provided.

With it being the beginning of the semester I hope we can get lots of participation. The first LANs we had minimal participation so lets show the Hivemind spirit.

    Rules:
    1) Don’t have violence based themes. ie. refrain from using guns, ect.
    2) Try to focus on Hivemind as an organization rather than computer games. It’s alright to incorporate games into the overall design scheme.
    3) Use any photo-editing program of your choice.
    4) Save your file.
    5) Questions about details feel free to contact one of the officers.

    * I’ll edit the details of maximum file size and resolution. Everyone hang on tight.

    The more posters the better. I might be able to arrange a prize for the first prize winner….let’s see those ideas!

We’ll be playing lots of fun games (yay!) including (but not limited to) Left 4 Dead, Call of Duty 4, Team Fortress 2, Unreal Tournament 3, Counter-Strike: Source, F.E.A.R. Combat Multiplayer and many more! We’ll have music and great prizes.

    Setup begins at 3:00pm so if you would like to help us out feel free to come! Also, when loading and unloading, please use the front, south entrance (parking loop in front of the SUB) and not the loading dock!
