Attention Hivemind members and MSU Students:
The first LAN of the year will be this Saturday, October 3rd at 7pm in SUB Ballroom A. Setup will begin at 3pm with the event starting shortly after.
The event is free of charge and please remember to bring your own personal computer with games pre-installed.
*Attention Hivemind Members.
- The forum has been upgraded from punBB to phpBB3 and as a result users will need to upgrade their avatars.
- There is a thread about a poll whether the forum is working, post in the thread if the user permission/forum seem to be working and post in the thread if you have any comments
about the layout.
*Hivemind Wiki
- We’re in the final stages of configuring a generic MSU Hivemind Wiki page and we’ll inform members when the section goes live.
It’s within weeks of our next LAN party and that means another poster contest. With it being the beginning of the semester I hope we can get lots of participation. The first LANs we had minimal participation so lets show the Hivemind spirit.
Rules:
1) Don’t have violence based themes. ie. refrain from using guns, ect.
2) Try to focus on Hivemind as an organization rather than computer games. It’s alright to incorporate games into the overall design scheme.
3) Use any photo-editing program of your choice.
4) Save your file.
5) Questions about details feel free to contact one of the officers.
* I’ll edit the details of maximum file size and resolution. Everyone hang on tight.
The more posters the better. I might be able to arrange a prize for the first prize winner….let’s see those ideas!
